1993 Bluebird TC2000 FE 40 Ft School Bus
Welcome to the "Big Bird" web site. Big Bird is a 1993 Bluebird TC2000 FE 40 foot special needs school bus that was retired from the Broward County School District and bought in an on-line auction (May 2009). I purchased the bus to use as a moving truck/van. We are relocating from Orlando, FL to East Tennessee this Summer. The plan is to remove all the seats except a few in the front and load up all our belongings and head for the hills.

Credit for the "Big Bird" name goes 100% to my wife Heather. After we bought the bus we were researching "bus info" and we noticed that people named their buses. Heather instantly thought of "Big Bird". Must have been a flashback to child hood...LOL.
The seats were removed over Memorial weekend.
